The Master Class Weekend was a hoot! I had so much fun with Andrea and my fellow students. The recording session was the icing on the cake. Thanks for all of your direction and patience, Andrea!

Renee I. - CA

When I first considered the Master class, I was a little shocked by the cost. Having attended it, I can say IT WAS WELL WORTH THE COST! If you are serious about becoming a voice artist, you must attend this class! It begins from the beginning, "I want to do voice over, now what?" and covers how to interpret and deliver scripts with the appropriate emotion, how to set up and run your own recording studio and how to market your business. If that isn't enough, you also receive two outstanding demos complete with direction and music! The two demos alone are worth the cost of the class! Also, my instructor, Andrea, was awesome! She was genuinely interested in your success and was a wealth of helpful information. Perhaps the most amazing thing about her was the fact that she always found something positive to say about your performance even when you were certain you completely bombed.

Any field you decide to undertake will require training in order to excel. The Master's Class is a necessary training investment for anyone who is serious about becoming a voice artist.

Von G. - NJ

All the VFA staff are really dedicated professionals. They are great sources of information and seem to want all their students to succeed. Even when they are getting daily emails asking for advice they take the time to answer and be helpful. The Master Class is packed with good info but there is still a LOT to do before we are ready to start recording in our home studios! Expect to put in plenty of time in the weeks following the class getting your marketing materials, software and equipment together. It is somewhat daunting but with staff's assistance, it can be done and I think the rewards will be excellent down the road. I look forward to that!

Carol N. - FL

Voices For All gave me the knowledge and tools to pursue my new career--and most importantly, the confidence! Andrea was a fantastic instructor--thanks, Voices For All!

Allyson L. - CA

Sent out only 2 demos, and had my first job! Thanks everyone.

Betsy B. - MI

SUCCESS UPDATE: I decided to send out my demos first before getting into the home studio. I cannot tell you how excited I was to get a call after only sending out ten demo packets!! The call was from a local sound equipment company who was creating a DVD explaining how to put together a church sound system, step by step. They needed someone to do an intro. and outro. The company owner told me he was ready to hire someobdy in another state because he did not know anyone locally who did voiceovers. He received my CD and I got my first job in the industry! I recorded in a small sound booth using the client's equipment. I felt confident about the recording session after having gone through the class. The DVD has gone to over 200 churches across the country and can be purchased by many more. I was not only exhilarated, but proud.
My experience during the Voices For All Master Class was a very positive one. It involved two days jammed packed with information about the voiceover industry, and it was all summed up in a very precise notebook, which we took home. Among the topics covered, which I found of particular interest, was information on how to put a demo packet together to send out to potential clients. Everything from examples of resumes to different kinds of business cards were discussed. A marketing strategy was also discussed along with ideas on who to send your demo package to, and how to sell yourself. Considering that a demo pack is essential to getting involved in the industry, I needed this information without question. The recording session on our last day was also a must for anyone wanting to go into the voiceover industry. Not only did it provide our first attempt to record professionally, it also ultimately provided the CD to send out to potential clients. Our instructor was there every inch of the way, making sure we understood the scripts. She provided helpful ideas on how to use our voices to get the recordings we wanted.

My name is Jennie Guard and have recently completed the Voices For All Master Class.

I cannot say enough about the fun we all had, the great group of people, and Andrea who taught us so much in such a short time. Also, having all the support after the class, just an E mail or phone call away, is invaluable.

If you want an exciting, different career, then this is it. I am looking forward to making it work.

Thanks to All at Voices For All.

I took the class in August, 2006. The staff was very helpful and encouraging and informative. They definitely want every class member to succeed! I had one of the most positive, enjoyable and memorable weekends of my life. Thank you so much!!!

Claudette M. - NE

It started with a community education class, Mike the instructor presented great information. I left feeling curious, but not sure what to do next. Where do I find the resources, how do I make a demo, find a recording studio and coach. The team at Voices For All answered all my questions and gave me the tools to proceed. All the answers and support in one spot. If you think voice acting is for you the team at Voice For All are the pros to turn to. Thanks so much Andrea you are a great coach.

I recently took the Voiceover Master Class taught by Andrea! What a great experience!! I wasn't even sure that there was a possibility that I would be suited for voiceover work, but Andrea and the wonderful VFA family was terrific at convincing me that I could be successful. The Voices For All staff is welcoming, thorough and knowledgeable. If you are considering this creative field, let yourself be convinced by a weekend with the Voices For All family. You'll be glad you did and, once you hear your demo, you'll be certain that you have landed in the right place for exploring the exciting world of Voiceover!!

I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Voices For All for anyone who is looking for professional voice acting training and a big push forward in your budding voice acting career.

I recently completed the Master Class and I am very pleased with the outstanding service of Voices For All. John Pruden is a seasoned professional voice actor, but he is also an excellent instructor. He knows his craft and is very generous about sharing the particulars about various topics: how to break into the industry; how to train your voice; how to present a professional presence to a client; how to market yourself; how to create your "brand"; and how to set up your own in-home studio.

The staff at the home office in New York have also been very helpful. I am particularly impressed with VFA's commitment to help me be successful in this field--whether with technical questions or providing advice.

I heartily endorse Voices For All!

Donald B. - CA

The VFA Master Class in Seattle, more than exceeded my expectations. John Pruden, our guide on this journey, was professional without pretensions, supportive, funny and very knowledgeable.

If a participant didn't "get" a concept, he had a variety of alternative examples to make the idea come through. This is a rare talent, seen only in true teachers and expert communicators. It was clear from the outset, that he knew his field, and wanted us to soak up as much from his expertise as we could in our limited time together.

The studio session was the culmination of a great deal of information, both technical and technique. It was hard work, but ultimately, a satisfactory experience. I ended the weekend, very excited to commence my travels, "In a world of Voice over. . . "

Sandy B. - MN

The quality of the materials, the teaching and the voice coaching are the best, and far exceeded my expectations. I am now fully prepared to launch my new career!

Cindy A. - CA

I was fortunate enough to get into the January 2008 training session and was glad I did. There is a wealth of information in the training class, hlepful practice sessions; and an invaluable 2 hour demo session. The Voices For All folks know the industry. Before I was just thinking about this career. Now I am prepared to succeed. Thank you Voices For All!

Clark F. - PA

Thinking about a voice over career? Don’t know where to start? Want great value for your money? Take the VFA Master Class. Take it as soon as possible. You won’t be sorry! My class in Chicago was many things--intense and overwhelming and illuminating and encouraging and educational—but mostly it was fun and confidence-boosting! John is a terrific instructor who uses his humor and creativity to bring out the best in his students, coaxing them to expand their performance skills and leave their self-consciousness behind. He presents the home studio and marketing information in simple, practical terms, explaining clearly what’s needed to run a voice acting business. John’s coaching in the studio is amazing--I was having such a great time, I didn’t want my session to end! I left Chicago feeling exuberant and fully prepared to launch myself into the voice over world. If you want to get into voice over, do yourself a favor: Take this class!

Deanna J. - MN

I only have one word to say,FANTASTIC!!!!

Eric H. - CA

What a truly awesome experience! I thoroughly enjoyed my VFA Master Class in Chicago this past January. The weekend was quite intensive, but we all learned so much in such a short time.

John was a fantastic teacher and coach. His terrific sense of humor helped to put what could have been daunting information into perspective.

I loved the recording session. John's coaching really helped me to have fun. In fact, I felt as if I was walking on cloud nine for days after.

Thank you all at VFA for giving me the tools and wherewithal to take the next step in my VO career.

Elizabeth J. D. - MI

SUCCESS UPDATE: Hi Courtney…  I took your class in L.A. a couple of years ago. I was slow at putting all the pieces together, but I am now into doing some audio book work. I recently narrated a little book, “Midlife Crisis Begins in Kindergarten,” which is now posted on You Tube. My client had some technical difficulties marrying my narration to their slide show, so you may hear a little tinny sound, but my voice work still comes through just fine. Here’s the link: www.youtube.com/learningsuccessinst

I did all the voices, including the little kid’s. I’m now narrating a whole self-help book for parents by the same authors. It’s been a fun challenge, and I’m looking forward to doing more books

My motto:  Keep Smiling!

I attended the latest Master Class in Los Angeles, Feb. 8-10, 2008, and it was outstanding! I have attended numerous VO classes in the past three years, but they all dealt with performance techniques and spent very little time teaching the nuts and bolts of running a VO business. Your class was thorough and detailed in every aspect of this business. And your ongoing support system is phenomenal. I am excited about finally making a career of voice-over acting. Thank you for showing me how to make my dreams a reality. Caroline Corser, CA

Caroline C. - CA

SUCCESS UPDATE: Hey Everyone, I am so excited to be able to tell you that I have worked in national ad campaigns for AmeriValue Tax Relief and Home Services. I have recorded an instructional video narration for a manufacturer of windows called Hy-Lite. I have narrated for an Alaskan Lighthouse project, and recorded a commercial for Fortune Valley Casino in the Rocky Mountains!  Things are going great. Thank you VFA!

This experience was quite amazing. Andrea was an incredibly intelligent and articulate. She made it easy to understand from begining to end. In Albany we were put up at a really nice local hotel, making the visit very comfortable and relaxed. Voice-Over work is something I've been wanting to get into for a long time The VFA team made it no longer a dream, but a reality! If this is something you too have been wanting to get into, please don't hesitate any longer!

Patrick N. - CO

The voiceover master class taught me A LOT! The studio session with John taught me EVEN MORE! They both gave me the courage and confidence to go out and book my first voiceover job! I'll get to do two different British-accent voices in a very fun, funny upcoming animated series. [And this is in Hollywood, folks, where there's plenty of competition!] Thanks, VFA!

Scott D. - CA

I truly appreciated the information provided in the first and advance voice master class! Good, supportive instructors. Definitely worth the time and the the money!

Eve A. - CA

SUCCESS UPDATE UPDATE: 2011 was a good year for me and my business.  My big success was booking a series of four radio commercials that ran on Reds Radio in Cincinnati and other regional markets throughout the spring, summer and fall.  The spots were for the Regional Tourism Network and encouraged people to come to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky and experience all the sights available to them.  One spot even ran on Fox Sports Ohio TV station with a montage of pictures behind it.  I was very excited to be selected for this role.  I also did a few on-hold messages for a local chiropractor.  He has been a client for a while.  As a matter of fact, he was my first client.  We actually barter for services for the work I do for him. Click Here  to listen to the commercial.

SUCCESS UPDATE: I am a graduate of the January 2008 VFA Masters class.  I have been working hard to grow my business since then and am feeling that I am making good progress.  From a business side I have had strong success in using networking to find jobs but know I need to do much more on the marketing side.  However, through networking alone, in the past few months I have gotten jobs doing radio commercials for a cookie company, The Cookie Crumbs, and a candy company, Esther Price.  I have been hired to create telephone messages for two companies, Duro Bag and The Griffin-Tate group and I am brokering a few talents for an innovation company called Idealine.  From the corporate narration side I also created the audio for two web videos for a client of Idealine.  I'm particularly proud of one of these narrations as it was actually a short story requiring me to create voices for three young girls, a mother and an older woman, and create and add sound effects as well.

You will not be disappointed with the time you spend attending the VFA Master class. I am amazed with the amount of information and practice we had in a very short time. It was incredibly helpful to watch and hear my fellow class members work on the exercises presented by John. The studio session was fun, informative and I am happy with the demos produced for me. The only scary part is that most of the next steps are up to me. But it helps to know that I have resources in John and the VFA team that can provide me input and feedback regarding those next steps.
