I'm glad I got going in this field. The demos are great, the Master Class was cool (and Fun & Informative) and it was nice to get to know the class and the instructor as well. Thanks for your continuing support!David S. - IA
For those of you thinking about taking any course from this organization, and waffling about the cost, I can state first hand (Masters class graduate 11/8/10 - San Jose, Ca) that it was worth every cent, and then some. This is not a fly-by-night operation...far from it. They work with you every step of the way; from the moment I took the introductory course back in April, to this very day, the staff has been courteousLarry C. - CA
A couple of weeks ago, I took both of VFA's advanced workshops, in Characters and Audiobooks. As with my intro and master classes, I was impressed with both the content and the quality of the instruction. Both Eric (Characters) and Leah (Audiobooks) are top-notch teachers, and it's all of the little things they do when coaching us that makes the difference, in my opinion. Both are clearly passionate about their respective specialties, offer great insight into each field and are quick to point out both our performance strengths as well as areas where we can improve in our reads. I left this power weekend fired up for all of the possibilities in both the Characters and Audiobooks areas of voiceover.
Of course, since it has taken me two weeks to make the time to write this testimonial, and since this was one of the first items on my post-workshops-light-a-fire-under-my-butt list of VO tasks to complete, it's clear that one of the key messages throughout all VFA courses – the need to be diligent and keep the momentum going in your VO career – is still relevant. For that reason, I'm also glad that all of the VFA instructors make themselves available and provide that extra level of support. I know that as I start working through my massive list of home studio, marketing and practicing tasks, exploring all of the opportunities in both Characters and Audiobooks, I'll be able to reach out to Eric and Leah for guidance, support – and even a constructive kick in the pants when I need it.Ryan P. - MI
It has been a pleasure to start on my voiceover career path with Voices for All. They have quality people who are there to help you navigate the unknown, making you feel success is within your reach. Both the introductory instructor, Patrick, and the master class teacher, Mike, provided the information and motivation necessary to assist me getting where I want to go. My demos sound terrific and are wow-ing family and friends. I believe it’s only a matter of time before I’m writing again with a success update.Michelle B. - WA
Last week I completed the Masters Class with Mike Elmore. Mike is a terrific instructor and the weekend went by quickly. There were points when I felt completely overwhelmed by all the information that was given but by the end of my recording session I felt confident about setting up my own business as a voice over artist. Thank you Voices for All and Mike for providing the opportunity to learn more about what is needed and to offer support for those ready to move forward in this field.Elizabeth W. - CA
Wow!! I can't explain the fun of it all. Learning the business, meeting new friends, to doing the demo was all the greatest experience I never expected. The support I feel that's behind me makes me a success before I start. Great teacher, Eric Hunt, and great materials. Thank you, I'll do it all over again even though I don't have to.D'Andre M. - CA
The Voices for All Master Class was absolutely fantastic! I can't say enough good things about it. Not only did it allow me to get specific feedback from a voiceover professional, the Master Class gave me the information I needed to actually launch a career in the voiceover industry. Anyone considering getting into voiceover work absolutely needs to take the Voices for All Master Class!Matthew W. - WA
This will be one of those "I remember when" moments upon which I will relect in my senior years at the Don Pardo Memorial Old Announcers Home and be glad I did it. Eric Hunt is my YODA (insert your own joke here) and he knew just how to get the best out of me during my recording session. He kept the class fun and informative. Bob hooked me at my intro class, no small accomplishment. It is true that the classes are not cheap but it is an investment in the future. As the poet said "Of all the words of tongue the saddest are 'what might have been'". Follow your dream. If you hear the name TIM CASSIDY in the future you'll have VFA to thank or curse as the case may be.Tim C. - MI
SUCCESS UPDATE: Just finished filming my first full-length indie film and had a blast! I was cast in a supporting role in "Tilt", a drama-thriller filmed entirely in Brained, Minnesota. Go to tiltthemovie.wordpress.com to see the teaser/trailer which was just premiered at Flyway Film Festival in Pepin, Wisconsin. Hope this role will lead to either more film or voice over work. Stay tuned for more info and the release of the full movie in early spring.Dave V. - MN
SUCCESS UPDATE! "I couldn't of done it with out you..." Thank you V.F.A. for giving me the know how and motivation for landing my first gig! My first client was half way around the world in Estonia. They found me because I took V.F.A.'s advice and ran with it. It was so important to have my home studio up and running. The quality recording methods that V.F.A. taught me really sealed the deal. I mean it when I say that I couldn't of done it with out you. A Million Thanks!
For anyone seriously considering a career in voice acting VOICES FOR ALL is a great place to start!Keith K. - OH
The master class lead by Eric Hunt was exceptional. Everything necessary to begin voice overs was covered, but we didn't seem to rush over anything. The diversity of the class and the interaction as we worked on techniques made the learning experience fun and rewarding. I particularly like the marketing and studio set up portion. The recording session game me a realistic idea of what's involved in getting an acceptable final product. By the end of the weekend, I felt I had all the tools I needed to begin this new career. Thanks for a wonderful and informative weekend.Yvonne C. - CA
Would-a, could-a, should-a. So many dreams, so many if-onlys. Saying yes meant a step with risk, but I felt that here might be that one opportunity to realize a dream. Our weekend together, a group of strangers made comfortable by Eric--his sense of humor, his stories, his encouragement--was filled with fun and insights. Even the studio time, which I had faced with trepidation (it really isnt anything like going to the dentist), turned out to be a joyful experience under Erics able direction. As a graduate, I now have access to the information which will answer my questions concerning business development, contacts, technology. And I have the friendly and experienced staff of VFA for ongoing support. The dream lives on...Cher S. - CA
SUCCESS UPDATE: This job paid for my Voices.com membership!
VFA definitely has put me on track! I am an equity actress who really came into theatre without any training, learning as I go along. When I decided to pursue voice overs, I really wanted a company that would take all of the guesswork out of it for me, and the fact that they provide lifelong support is huge. Before I decided on their Master Class, I went over their information with a friend of mine who is a voice talent on the West Coast. She confirmed that the information VFA had given me was solid, and said I should go for it. And I am so glad I did! Of course, you can and should spend more time developing yourself as an artist and growing your business. But I really don't think you can beat the combination of information and support that you get from VFA. Another thing that impressed me was that every single person in my group had at least one read where you thought, "wow, that person sounds really good." So no, not everyone is invited to participate. They truly do screen for potential to succeed. I started sending out demos and auditions less than two months ago. I just booked my first job last week. Today I got my first radio commercial, and I will also be working on an ongoing basis with a local company that produces educational podcasts. Couldn't be happier!

What an incredible experience! Thank you so much for all of the knowledge-sharing you packed into a short amount of time. I left feeling I could conquer the voice acting world :-) Of course, I also left with a realistic view of what I need to do to get started and keep moving forward. Eric was a fantastic instructor. I highly recommend the Masters Class for anyone venturing into this field. Thanks again!Renee L. - AZ
